How We Started
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, schools were closed to help slow the spread of the virus. While governments, health officials, and experts worked tirelessly to protect our communities, there was a growing need for societies, and individuals to step up and make sure kids were safe and didn’t miss out on learning. We needed a solution that kept kids active, creative, and healthy, even during these tough times.
That’s when the ‘KidsAtHome School Project’ was founded, to serve kids at home! We offered free online extracurricular programs for kids ages 5-14 who had limited access to interactive learning. Driven by a passionate group of volunteers, our mission was simple: to bring fun, creative, and engaging learning experiences to kids during the pandemic. By doing so, we hoped to ease the financial burden on parents, saving them from paying for both education and internet bundles.
